Dr. James Snow has always been drawn to the care and support of others. Since working in his father’s orthodontic practice as a young boy, he has understood the importance of listening to and understanding the individual needs of patients. Dr. James Snow has been practicing general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in Encinitas since 1994. He finished his graduate studies at USC School of Dentistry in 1992 and received his CEREC CAD/CAM in 1993. He became board certified in sedation dentistry in 2005.

He is also a member of various prestigious dental associations: American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry. Furthermore, he has served on the Board of the USC Century Club, is a past board member for the San Diego County Dental Society. He has been a guest lecturer for the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Pacific Coast Study.

Dr. Snow has volunteered his time at the USC Mobile Dental Clinic that provides dental care to the under-privileged in Southern California. He has been a local leader for the Boy Scouts of America since 1994. He enjoys working alongside new volunteers through Share the Care and the clinic at St. Leo’s. Dr. Snow is also a volunteer at the Lestonnac Free Dental Clinic and has performed over $200,000 worth of free dental work, mostly for veterans, at Pacific Dental Center’s annual IV sedation weekend.
